what do you guys think of this unit?

Thats a beautiful unit, I'd buy it if I had the cash. $2200 isn't too bad if you consider its a nav. system with a nice flip out screen, video and all that cool vehicle dynamics suff. Though one might question the utility of all that..

This unit is the shnizzle! We carry it in my shop, it's absolutely unbelievable! Go for the Eclipse if you want it to break in a year. Go for this Pioneer, I swear by it! The unit itself is just solid, straight forward install, excellent interfacing, hell, it can map your peak MPH, RPM, etc. Just do me a favor and buy it from an AUTHORIZED DEALER, otherwise I hope it does break the day after you buy it!

i've owned eclipse products for over 5 yrs and i've never had anything break from them. Your comment doesn't make any sense.

thats a great looking unit, i love the looks and i bet that its a very nice and solid unit, judging by the other pioneer decks i've seen, but if i was going to buy a video unit, i'd go for an eclipse avx or avn, those are nice units.
