Molded 7" Screen on Ebay

Did anyone catch this auction.
7" molded screen for the 7thgen civic
I really want one of these. How hard do you think it would be diy. I would've bid on this one but I wanted a different screen than the one offered.

yeah I have seen dereks, but he has like a 10" screen right. Didn't he move the AC controls between the seats. If so that is the guy that stated it was a lot of money to do what he did. I was looking for a cheaper alt.

player will become famous soon enoughplayer will become famous soon enough
Dereks car looks better then that though, he has the full dash redone and the screen is way bigger.

The headunit will have to be places either on the bottom by the cup holders, or sideways under the arm rest, derek relocated almost everything in his car, looks pretty sweet.

Dont get me wrong Dereks looks good, but i kinda like the 7" look better. Would be much better imo if it had some adjustability to viewing angle.

well, to do up a diy itd require pictures, and that means id have to do it all over again

i can TELL you how to do it though

basically youd cut a hole

mount it in place with either a wood piece, fiberglass, glue, whatever youd like

fill the front with bondo or body filler or whatever

sand

paint

LudlamTheory, how did you attach the screen to the back of the panel. Or is it attached at all.
