Sell AMP or by additonal

Need help I was wondering if I should upgrade to another amp or sell the one I have and get something more powerful. Kaptions 75.2 High current amp. I have Alpine V12 Mrd M300 amp was going to get another one and run two JL W3 v2 12 inch subs already have one sub. Better to run one powerful Amp or two okay Amps. What should I do?? Please help me with my decision

Thanks,
Slimm

I think they are dual voice coil for shure I am not too knowledgeable on Impedence but they guy at Auto Sound and Desgin who sold me the subs was aware that I was going to upgrade to another sub so he said to buy the dual voice coil version, Holla Back

12w3v2s are always dual voice coil. Make sure the subs are dual 4 ohm subs. Dual 4 ohm subs can be wired in parallel to a 2 ohm load. This will allow you to get full power (300 watts RMS) from the MRD-M300s. A pair of 12w3v2s with an MRD-M300 on each would be freekin awesome!

I have the same setup with the M300 and V2. Im thinking about upgrading to two V2s and another M300, but im not sure though. It would be cheaper to buy another amplifier to run both subs rather than buy another M300 in my honest opinion. I am thinking about buying a HiFonics BX1000, which I can get for a little more than $200 which will supply more than enough power for two V2s. Thats just me.

the sub output isnt affected if you fade towards the front or rear on your HU. that's the only difference

IF the subs are not dual 4 ohm you will only get 150 watts RMS out of the amps. Recommended power for those subs is 300 RMS so they're going to sound the best and last the longest with at least that much power. Also, why not get 300 watts out of your amps if they're capable of it? I believe that amp has a preamp output so you would run the RCA out from one amp to the next. Also, the MRD-M500 has the same processor that the MRD-M300 has.

No it doesn't they suck *** I need to find a way to get the most out of my sub. If I get a more powerful amp will it increase the power output to 300 RMS?? let me know the base is good but still doesn't sound 100%
