Removing a 2002 Civic Factory Head Unit

Hey, I'm new to this forum, so if this post is in the wrong place, please move it. Anyways, my girlfriend got a 2002 civic lx, and wants to put in a new cd player. I took a look at it, but couldn't find any screws around it. Should I take off the center console beneath the radio, or is there another way? She's got a single DIN radio with a pocket beneath, if that helps. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx,
Pete
