component sets

i'm having trouble deciding between

the infinity 60.5cs
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...=0&cc=01&avf=N

the the kicker K6.2

http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...=0&cc=01&avf=N

and the cdt CL-61

http://www.audioinmotion.com/item.jhtml;$sessionid$IUZUQ4YAAAK4ZTZENUGUTIWPERWRJPX0?UCIDs= 414580%7C933641&PRID=876888

they'll be powered by my deh-6500 pioneer deck until i take my 4 channel off my subs to power the components. the amp is a a6004t audiobahn amp. (intake) i listen mostly to hip hop/rap, and hard rock. my price range is around 150-200. i found those two diff sets around 150 each respectively.

btw, the amp will be sending 75 watts per channel @ 4 ohms. i would like to keep it simple, so 4 ohms is a requirement

what do you think of those two sets? would you recommend me get a different set than those? btw, loud "tingy" music isn't a good thing to me...so harsh tweets would **** me off

infinity would be the loudest, and have the harshest tweets, but probably the nicer midrange, but zero low end response
kicker would probably have the most midbass but mediocre mid and high
and the cdt's would be the smoothest have decent midbass, and no harshness

thats all i can tell ya

the rest is your choice

ps. i'd take the cdt's but you might like other sets better

I dunno which one you should buy, but I do know that you can find the CDTs for MUCH cheaper from an Authorized dealer...try TheZeb.com.

They have a lot of CDT specials...I once had a bad experience with them where I ordered two of the same exact thing with different credit cards and they sent me one thing wrong...they were a b!tch about returning it...but that was my own personal experience with them one of the times I ordered from them...I would still recommend them because they are an Authorized dealer (as long as you don't have to return something )

If you go for the Kickers or Infinitys, I would buy them from sounddomain, and price match them off of Ikesound...

...this is all assuming that you are buying online

between those options id go with the infinity. They seem to have the cleanest sound of those that you have listed. Down side that ive seen is they dont like to be driven REAL HARD! But from moderate to loud they seem fine.

I happen to own infinity's, and while I won't necessarily say they suck, cause they don't, but there are certainly better sounding components out there than infinity.

the cdt's will be quiet as all heck.

id pick the kickers, if only for the hard rock.

infinity makes a great rap speaker, but jsut doesnt have the midbass support to play the lower range of a bass guitar as well as some other speakers.

IMO, the XR's are one of the best component sets out there, but they are not in his price range DoubleDeuce.

VR's are pretty close to XR's, think rockford fanatic with more clarity but less powerhandling.

the TR's are kinda harsh tho

ok, so i think i'm gonna go with the cdt's. i've asked on a different forum (quick plug, hehe):

www.clubknowledge.com

and they also highly recommended the cdt's. if u guys ever have a question and it doesn't get answered here, go check that forum out. those guys are crazy knowledgable.
