Lightbulb running wires

Where does everyone have their wires run from front to the trunk? Just had headunit, rcas and remote wire installed but are just wrapped up in passenger footwell cause they wanted an extra $20 to run them. Also will i need to drill a hole in the firewall to run a power wire and is that run the same place as rca's and all or did you run that differently.

run rcas down passenger side for best noise avoidance. power wire then down driver side. remote can go with either.

there is a rubber grommet behind the glove box you can run the power cable through. it is visible in the engine bay as well. no need to drill to install it.

i guess the shortest path is the best..so i ran the power wires down the passanger, the RCA down the centreconcle and up to the back drivers side under the carpets, and the speaker wires dont really matter, and the remote with the power wires

technically you might have .01V more power because of the shorter cable. but the civic has a fuse box that causes problems with noise under the steering wheel. for subs you might never notice it, but i sure did with my front speakers.

I did power and remote down the passenger side, and all of the RCA's down the left. Seperating the power wiring from the RCAs will help minimize any unwanted noise in your system.

You may or may not have an open hole on the passenger side grommet - my 2k1 coupe did NOT, I ended up sharing the main grommet that feeds all the other wiring through the firewall nearer to the driver's side to avoid drilling.
