Is this a good system? I'll be the first to admit i don't know a lot about car audio and electronics. With the help of some friends I finally narrowed down what I wanted to get...until i found this for sale. A friend of a friend is selling his entire system...he's asking 1,000 bucks for it...It caught my attention and I was just wondering if this is any good...

its a "she" not a "he" haha, and i'd say the subs and amp are gonna run like maybe 350 or 400 used and the headunit is the thing that is worth usually 1000 new or i'd say 600 which is what he's asking. so if u really want it, get it then and save on it being new. but if u dont like the type-r's cuz there small, especially 10's and all then get somethign else. Maybe just buy his lcd headunit, thats what i'd buy from him and get some other amps and subs. tell him i'll give him 500 for the hu, lol.
edit.... u can get the hu new for 760.
