What amp should I get for my woofer
I just got a new Diamond cm3 10 inch woofer. Right now I only have a 150 watt rms amp. I know its real weak. What amp would be good for this woofer without speding a lot of money. Also would it make a big diifernce to change my box because right now its in a bandpass box.

300-400 wrms is what you need, something like a rockford 351M work work fine, but i dont know your budget, so i can't really say. the 351M is like $250 retail, if you haggle with a local shop, they should be able to do it for less, like $220. the amp will put out close to 400 watts rms at 2 ohms. what impedence is the sub?

oh crap, didn't even read the box part, regularjoe is right, put it in a better box first, like a small sealed box, then get the amp for it.

darn, scratch the 351M, it makes 350 watts @ 2 ohms, your sub is a dual 2 ohm, so you need an amp that will make roughly 300 - 400 watts at either 1 ohm or 4 ohms.
wait, a 351S rockford amp will make 350 watts @ 4 ohms, its a 2 channel amp rather than the monoblock 351M, but it should still be the same price.
sorry, i kinda like rockford, and i dont know much about other brands, like kicker, or jbl, or whatever.
is there a certain budget you want to stay at?
