New Setup question

I tried searching to no avail. I am looking for a kit that has a half din opening for the indash EQ I just bought. Please help is you guys have an ideas. I really don't want the double din kit because there will be too much extra space. The kit I have right now is a hair too small...about half an inch on the side and slighty to small height wise. I am thinking about either routering it out or finding a new one that will fit without any modification.....Thanks for you help. By the way for those of you who are interested I finished most of my install last weekend.

MB Quart Reference componets up front
Pioneer 3 ways in the back
Alpine V serives 900 watt amp driving the subs
Eclipse EA3422 Amp powering the speakers
A huge Cap 3 farads
Eclipse headunit

Sounds great so far....my wiring needs to be cleaned up cause my trunk looks like a bomb hit it...and i have some slight engine noise

Thanks for your help

there are some kits out there that have a smaller opening where the pocket used to be. look at the scosche one, i had it but changed to the metra one because of the larger pocket.
