Hey everyone, my current system consists of JL Audio XR Mid/Tweeter Components in the front being run off a HiFonics ZX6000 and a JL Audio 12w3v2 being run off an Alpine M300. I am wanting to get some rear 6x9s for the rear to make my system complete, though these would only be run off my Alpine CDA-7893 which boosts 60Wx4, so im assuming it pushes 30W rms for each speaker. Now, for those of you that have rear speakers, do they make a difference in the way your system sounds? I do not want to do any mods for the rear speakers, I just want them to replace the stock ones without a spacer or removing that trunk bar. According to crutchfield, my options are the
Kicker K69 6"x9" 2-way Speakers
JBL GTO936 6"x9" 3-way Speakers
Rockford Fosgate FRC4269 6"x9" 2-way Speakers
All three of these will fit without mods, which one will create the best quality sound with 30w rms from my HU? Again, I just want them to replace the rear speakers, no mods. I am not looking for the best speaker to replace my stock ones, just some 6x9s that will make my music sound a little more full. Id really appreciate the help.

they'll make a difference, but not as much as your fronts do
u gotta good sub with good speakers up front, so try going for a speaker that will be able to put out just enough to balance the sound, something will more treble than bass.
i wouldnt spend much at all, like 120 tops

I was looking at the Infinity Reference 6953i 6"x9" 3-way Speakers because someone recommended a silk dome tweeter over what the other 6x9s that I mentioned had. The mounting depth is only 2 7/8" or something like that, compared to the 3" mounting depth that the speakers above mentioned by crutchfield that would fit in my car. Will these Infinity Reference 6x9s fit in my car without inferering with the trunk bar?

Mine did not fit, I had to go with shallow depth Alpine's. I ended up regretting it because they overpowered my front speakers and I could never adjust the Fade right because my subs are on the rear outputs as well. I would say leave them alone unless they are blown. Besides removing the rear deck is no fun anyhow. When I got my 03, I only amplified my front speakers and left the rear stocks in, which I am completely happy with.

You might as well stay stock. with the 20 watts your deck is gonna give them, your going to UNDERPOWER pretty much anything that will be an upgrade, just look for something with 50 watts peak power, or 25 rms watts. Trust me you wont be satified with just a speaker swap, i would suggest to buy a 4 channel then upgrade your speakers. Its all on you though
