what amp u guys think i shud get for a 12" id max v3" i was thinking of getting either the pg tantrum 1200 or the kicker 1200, but both are kinda pricey. it wud be kool to save some money, but i wud rather spend the extra money to get reliable stuff.

or instead of the id max i mite get a pair of jl 12w3v2. i have a pg octane r8.0:1 rated 600 wrms at 2 ohms i think, wud it work well with a pair of jl's? i think theyre svc so if i got them at 4 ohm and wired them in parallel it wud work, but im not sure

If you already have that amp get the JLs.

The w3's are DVC so you want the 2 ohm ones to end up w/ 2 ohms for the pair. Wire each in series inside the box. Then wire them together in parallel to the amp.

Otherwise I would go w/ the PG amp. I think the Kicker only has a 12db crossover.

id take an idmax over 4 w3's... idmax is an incredible driver. as to amp choice, its all dependant on whether you get the dual 2 ohm or the dual 4 ohm max

well i wudnt get 4 jls haha just two and use just the scratched up amp and then sell the other pg amp i have which is perfectly fine. it wud save more money than going with the id max and bigger amp.

ID Max all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe try a dual 4 ohm Max off of that 600 watts RMS PG amp before you invest in another amp.
