for this head unit i have the steering wheel remote thing cuz im lazy as hell, and i dunno why but whenever the faceplate is down, the remote duznt work. every now and then the volume button will work but rarely. is it suppoesd to be like this or is something messed up? its been like this ever since i got it

yea, mine works find as long as the face is up but for sum reason it only works if i use my left hand. even if i push hard with my right hand it wont work i have no idea why.

In my friends civic it works whether the hu is opened or closed. In my civic it works only sometimes if the hu is closed, and if its open it doesnt work.
