CD Player Lense?

CD Player Lense?
Hey everyone, I have an Alpine 7893 HU and recently after I have been trying to play burned cds, everyonce in a while I have times where my CD player starts to skip during a song. It doesn't happen all the time, but I was curious to know if it could be a dirty lense? I have had my CD player for more than a year to two years, not sure. If thats the case, then could I just get one of those dry lense cleaners for cd players to clean the lense? Thanks
