what cd/mp3 player to go with (need opinions)
I am thinking about 3 cd/mp3 players to get but cant decide. Help me out.

Search around, cause there's lots of stuff on this. I would not get kenwood. If you go with pioneer, I really recommend getting the 940mp. I got mine for $540, and it's worth every penny. Alpine is really good for sound quality, but display looks plain.

Rep Power: 331 i don't think regular kenwood decks are that great. but the excelon ones are nice. check out the X-869 maybe, i have that deck and love it. the only thing different between that and the 969 is the 969 plays wma files and has a sweeter display.

Rep Power: 813 Just make sure you know what you're getting--a sony deck. Sure the display is nice, but does it play cds well without skipping?
As for kenwood, my older deck I had was kenwood and it worked really well. I gave it to my dad and it still works fine. I think Kenwood is starting to get worse now. They don't even look good anymore.
Have you looked at eclipse decks? Some of the best out there.
