Aiming tweets in Kicks

So I have my speakes in Q-logic kick panels...and when I aim the tweeters normally the woofer totally over powers the tweeters. I have 6.5 inch infinity perfects and I have the the tweeters on +5 and I can not hear the highs very well.

When put in the kick panels the tweeters are aimed directly at the plastic panels by the knees, and I can't hear them ver well. So I tried to aim them at me and I just can't get my sound stage completely right, but the levels between the speakers is more evenly matched.

Does anyone else have a problem with how the tweets are way off axis with the q-logic kick panels? I have been experimenting with different things, but how should I go about aiming the tweeters at me and keeping a good soundstage?

Sorry if this question is stupid...I am just tired...maybe I can clarify tomorrow.

Fonto, thats exactly the reason why im not a fan of the Q logic kick panels. IMO the mid bass and the tweeter should be further seperate. I found the best place for my tweeters is on the dash. I got this idea from my other car a 01 accord ex(which is shaped very similar inside compared to my civic), it has tweets all the way against the windsheild, which gives a really good seperation in frquencys. However the Q logics are great to house a 6 1/2" or 5 1/4" which ever you have

Heres a pic to give you a better idea of how i placed mine. I experimented with many differnt locations, i was happiest with this...................

i have tweets in the stock ex location. mine are fosgate fanatic x ones, from the component set. i have them aimed at me. i also put a set of planet audio 1/2 in tweets in the vents to give a center channel for my tv sound. sounds pretty good, but i think i;ll make a glass piece above my center vents to install them in, gotta experiment to find what works best i guess. i also do not like the position on the q-logics for the tweets. too far back, and too hard to get any type of center channel in them. they should have put the tweets on the opposite side of the midbass. which is probably why i'll fabricate my own kicks.

i have my components in q forms, and my highs sound just fine. my hex's are set to 0db for the tweeters, and at times, i find them loud, so i turn down the treble on the HU.
i dunno, maybe we just have different tastes, but mine sound fine to me.
sorry i wasn't much help, i really dont know what to say, there isn't much adjusting you can do with the q forms themselves.
