Review of Code Alarm Security system

I just recently had a code alarm Power Code 7600 alarm system installed on my civic and so far I absolutely love it. The alarm was was installed for me and included ALL of the options that this thing can do. The 7600 alarm from code alarm is their top of the line system that they offer at this time and it is absolutely wonderful.

To start with this thing comes standard with the ability to do remote start, windows up/down, headlight activation, trunk release, and it will turn on the rear window defroster. I had a professional install it at a local shop that I trust very much so I really can say much about the installation side of it. However the alarm also has transmitting capabilities of up 1/8 of a mile which is very nice considering it isn't a two-way paging system. The way my installer set up the system it also closes my sunroof automatically when the alarm is armed. The remote start is very handy in the winter because I can set my car the night before to have the heat on and defrost the windows and also turn on the rear defroster for the car. I didn't do the install but I did watch some parts of it and the windows up/down looked like it is done with 4 relays on the coupe, 8 relays on a sedan. I don't know how the wiring worked, but the alarm had most of the capabilities already in it. The way code alarm designed the alarm it is also easy to upgrade to a newer version later by just replacing the DNA of the alarm as they call it, its basically a chip that plugs into the brain. So far the alarm has been very nice to have, it has a ton of convenience features that make it very useful, and the range on it is exceptional. Overall I think it is definitely worth checking out. Also with the upgrade feature it may allow for a two-way pager to be added to it in the future. If you have any questions about this system let me know, its been really nice to have so far and I don't know how I ever lived without it!

As long as the quality of the install is excellent (always important in anything, but especially in alarms/remote starts), I'm sure that you'll be lovin every minute of it for the life of the car..
The possibilities are absolutely endless with the use of the SPDT Relay eh?

Yeah, they did an excellent job with the install. I did watch most of it, but I don't know enough about installs to really explain how easy or hard it was to install. But I do know some of the things to do to make it more effective and they definately did a good job. That much was obvious
