i have problem with reception

i recently purchased a new system for my civc and now i get shitty *** reception from my deck.
i had two jl amps installed. i went back to the car stereo place where i had it done and they said it had to do with the antenna being in the back window and the amps sending off a signal. i was wondering if any one else has had this problem and if so how too correct it
i have a jl 300/4 and a 500/1
i dont think it has anything too do with the amps, but mostl likely i am wrong

Their is an additional wire you have to connect, I think that it was green and another color, but I will search for you.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
yeah I think they call it the power antenna lead, I know my wiring harness didnt have that wire so I had to splice into the stock wire.... our antenna must have some sort of booster that needs power to work properly.... I noticed a difference once I connected it right away....

is the antenna built actually into the glass or applied on top, i was wondering if i could remove it from my window and put an antenna on the roof or somethin.

It's in the glass, the little amplifier should be in the rear passenger A-pillar, I would say just connect the wire.
