getting a new system
titaniums are gone, sold to some guy for 750 which is more than i paid for them haha and now time to get some new stuff.
my friend is willing to sell me his pg tantrum 1200.1 for a "good" price, i dunno how much yet, and i was just wondeirng if that would match up well with the 12" id max v.3. and shud i get the 2 or 4 ohm? my guess wud be to get a 4ohm, wire the coils in parallel and run it as 2 ohms, or am i wrong? thanks guys for ur help

DO NOT run 0 ohms!!!!!! your amp wouuld probley blow out the fuse right away anyways. Wire it a 2 ohms for more power, wire it at 4 ohm for a clearner sound, less power. What ever your preference. Registered!!

yes, if you get this amp then buy the dual 4 ohm sub. dual 2 ohm would be 1 ohm load, which offers less expensive amp options but would not be best for that amp (that amp would probably make less power at 1 ohm then it does at 2).
and an sub sounding clearer at 4 ohms is bullshit, that has no relation.
only god can run at 0 ohms dude, you must be confused... the sub would not even be connected.

^^^Like he said, 0 ohms can't be done. Basically, every electrical component has a certain amount of resistance, so nothing electrical would really be 0 ohms...unless there was no power to it, in which case, there's nothing to resist; hence, 0 ohms.
