hey
i have punch z subs and i want to get rid of them, do u think that the JL would be good? Does anyone have them? If so what size amp are u running to them? Thanks

I have 2 10W6v2's ......I FREAKING LOVE THEM, THEY HIT SOOOO HARD!!!!!! Im pushing a 1200 watt Fosgate amp to them.......Take a look at my box ..... in my gallery.

I have two 8" JL w3's in my truck running off an Alpine M350 (350 watts each). They kick *** IMO.

Anything is going to be better than the Z's. Did you think of trying fosgate HE's or HE2's?

Check out the new JL W3V2. They came out recently as the new W3's with a reconstructed basket and tighter wound voicecoils. I saw them for about two bills a piece. And they hit damn hard.

even the w0 outperforms the punch Z.

the higher up you go, the better the improvement will be.

like adam corrolla said (it really does apply here) just spend as much money as you are comfortable putting into a paper bag, lighting on fire, then tossing out your window.

and it WILL be an improvement!

lol hadn't heard that before...

i prefer to think of audio purchases as feeding a habit, each time you want a bigger high. if you're going from punch z's, then yes you will get a rush from a pair of w0's.

I currently have two he2 running off a rockford 800 watt amp and IMO they hit but are too easy to blow but I dont care there warrantied threw bestbuy with the psp but everyone told me try some jl.

What's you budget? My friend just got 2 eD e12a's (run for 295 + s&h) and they bump verrrryyy loud but extremely clear, while still remaining deep
