do you know if the wires wrapped in plastic coating add to the rattling? if so, what do you think i should do to fix tihs

they should not, you should use dyna mat or some other sound deading material to eliminate rattles, most of the rattles come from you rear deck, license plate frame, or loose spoiler. Try searching for more answers.
