instructions? cmon kids.. wheres your creativity... if you go back in the archives theres a ton of diy's done by me and whiterabbit on the use of fiberglass and bondo... take those, learn how to use the stuff, and do something CREATIVE! What makes people say "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!" is when they see something theyve never seen before... now obviously if we give you instructions, its been done before...

civic02playa...

not feeling the following:

the mtx subs
the lack of carpet in your trunk
those z3 fenders
that color green
your wheels

...in general, i guess i'm not feeling your ride btw, you could take that wire from your radar detector and run it straight to your battery... (if a device runs off the lighter, you can attach it directly to the battery) just a suggestion to make your cabin a little bit cleaner...

I have never seen a layout w/ subs in that position. Original thats for sure. How does it sound? Have you tried them in the standard position facing the rear? How does that compare?

One thing about that wiring, what a rats nest .... haha. I am surprised that you don't end up w/ altenator whine.

I loved my Kicker amps .....

Exactly. Also perfect, but I'm gonna have to disagree with the color green comment.

haha aight just bash the ol' civic.......ehh I don't care........the reason it isnt finished is becasue i took the pic like right after i finished putting everything in........so if i were take on enow it'd look a lot different.......the choice of subs is actually one that is unique.....the mtx's dont take a lot of space to drive en aka the size of the box is smaller........and as for the rest of the ride......the color green rocks the z3's will look tight once i put my lip kit on and i hate to say it but a lot of people have my wheels on this site take a look around.......but as per the setup i was just tryin to let you guys know that it can be done and it has been done.......and for your information im in the mark for new subs the mtx's arnt hittin as hard as i would like....

Maybe its the position of the speakers, not the speakers themselves ....

no its the kicker 400 but its rated at 440..........and its not the position like my plans are to add another 400 kicker amp and i need subs that can handle 440 watts going to them and the mtx's i have now arnt goign to be big enough to handle that kind of power......so im in the market for new subs......nothign to do w/ the setup.....and if i turn em around they increase by about 4 db's but it isnt worth the trunk rattle so im extremely satisfied w/ the setup as it is now so im keeping it the way it is....but yeah if you guys have any suggestions lemme know....and thanks for not demeaning my car as dingaling did....haha

if you are wanting something to take up less space, and be in seperate boxes, why not fab something using the spaces behind the wheelwells? make it come out flush, or better yet, the rear part (closest to the rear of the car) come out further, and gradually curve inward. the subs would be facing into the cab, sort of. it'b be custom, and youd keep a lot of trunk space. didn't look at the ride civ02playa, so i can't comment.
