how to put a timer on headlights
do u guys know how to put a timer on the headlights? i mean. if i turn off my engine and get out of the car and i accidentally leave the lights on(let's say i'm very sleepy or drunk) and the next morning or when i wake up i find out my lights were on the whole time i was away from my car..
well.. i think most cars(domestic) have this feature(im sure the camry 02 has one)..how come our vic's don't! damn honda!

maybe someday if I get bored, I'll write up a DIY but it just involves a 12 timer with a potentiometer (so you can change the time on how long it takes to turn them off) and a few relays..
i have a feature on my alarm that does it. it comes with a light sensor so it turns on/off my lights for me without me touching the light switch. buying an alarm just for that would be a bit extreme though. but if you don't have an alarm and have been considering getting one, look up one that may do so for you.
