how to hook up power antenna?

well.... i need some help on how to hook up the power antenna..... i'm using a sony harness... i don't know what wires to hook up? i just know i need to hook up the blue wire from the harness to the power antenna from the stock......

i read on other threads that i'm supposed to hook up the green/yellow on stock... but that doesn't make any sense... cuz that wire is for the speakers.

It true, I just put in my new deck this weeekend and with my old deck my reception was bad and non existant in AM.
Then I connected the yellow/green wire to the p/ant (blue) in the harness and now everything works great AM and FM!!!!!!

yes i still dont' get it. the green/yellow goes to the speaker? how come we are plugging the power antenna to it ?

i just installed my jvc kd-sx990 today. i gave up on the power antenna because it got both am and fm perfectly. however.. i did try to connect it with the green/yellow that goes to a speaker, and all of a sudden i couldn't get any radio signal. i connected it to a ground which didn't do anything either. however, when i connected it with the dimmer, there would be static when i turned on and off the headlights. hope this information helps.
