help with my amp install

well i took out my subs, and disconnected my amps because i was gonna sell them, but then decided to put them back in. only problem is its not really working, so ill try to be explain my set up in detail cuz i dont have a way to get pics up or anything.

starting from the battery, i have about 15 inches of 4 awg wire running to a phoenix gold circuit breaker, then more 4 awg wire running back to my trunk into a distribution block. then i have (2) 8 awg wire running to my amps the B+ terminal or wutever its called. i have 2 phoenix gold octane R R8.0:1 btw. Then more 8 awg wire going from the B- thing to ground.

then i have the RCA wires i think theyre called pluged into my deck into the plugs labeled subwoofers or sumthin like that, running back to one of my amps, master amp, and plugged into input. theres nothing on my amps that says which to plug into, ive tried plugging in red on top, then black on top, niether works.

then more RCA wires running from AUX OUTPUT to input of the other slave amp. again same thing, im not sure which plug goes into top or bottom. and then i have the LPL44 remote bass control thing plugged into the master amp, and master amp is set to LP/LP, and slave is set to BY/BY.

and then 12 awg wire running from speaker output on each amp to my subs.

what i THINK is the problem is the remote turn-on terminal, or wutever its called. i have one wire that runs to somewhere, i dunno where it ends up. the other end is not connected. and then i have another same wire running from one amp, plugged into the remote turn on terminal, and the other end is by the master amp. my guess is that i hafta plug both, the one from the slave amp and the one from the deck im guessing into the master amp. only problem is that i dont have an allen wrench or wutever its called small enough to loosen and tighten the screw. would that be the problem? ive tried using all sorts of thing to get them in, and i dont have any tools that will work. if this is the problem, i guess i can just go to my friends dads car audio shop, and see if they can lend me the tool for like 10 minutes to plug them in. if its not, then i dunno what the problem is.

ive looked over everything several times, and cant find anything wrong other than not being able to plug in the remote turn on lead or wutever.

link to online manual for my amps

thanks guys

Regularjoe is on a distinguished road
They don't call it the remote turn on lead for nothing.

You need it connected for the amps to turn on.

Otherwise the amp would never shut off and you'd have a dead battery every time you leave your car overnight.
