wiring harness problem

So I was all ready to connect the two harnesses but I ran into a problem. While I was cutting the wires to expose the copper, I pulled the red wire too hard and it came out. I can put it back in but I don't know where it goes. There are 10 holes on the top row and 10 on the bottom. This harness is the one that connects to the car.

From my left to right it reads,

Top 10
(1)Blank, (2)Blank, (3)Blank, (4)Blank, (5)purple w/black stripe, (6)green w/black stripe, (7)gray w/black stripe, (8)white w/black stripe, (9)orange w/white stripe, (10)black

Bottom 10
(1)blue, (2)Blank, (3)Blank, (4)Blank, (5)purple, (6)green, (7)gray, (8)white, (9)orange, (10)yellow

So there are 7 blanks. I don't know which one it belongs in. Or does it even matter at all where the red one goes?

Your best bet will be to go to the vehicle wiring database, click on the link on the left of your screen under the bold word MENU, and then enter the make model and year of your car. The red wire (On an aftermarket harness) is the accesory wire, so you are looking for the RADIO SWITCH wire), note the color of the wire, and then plug the wiring harness into the stock harness. Locate the position of the RADIO SWITCH wire (Yellow/Red on an 02 Honda), and then plug in the red wire in the cooresponding pin. Basically, find the wire color you need on the stock harness, and then plug in the pass through harness, and find which pinhole the stock wire is going into.

Hope this helps
