Arrow rca cables quality sets pre amps. NEW deck or Components?

right now i have a JVC deck that has only one set of RCA cables that are routed to my Kenwood Excelon 5 channel amp.

my sound's great but i know it can be better

should i spend the 200 dollars to get the new deck with 3 sets of RCA cables or should i spend the 200 on front components?

does anyone know how much effect 2 more sets of RCA cables help with sound?
thanks

You want to buy a head unit that will sound awesome with your system and give you two rca jacks...then buy mine.

I am selling A Kenwood Kdc-416s for $80.

It is in perfect looking and working condition. It comes with a remote, manual, original box, and what ever else it had new.

As far as more RCA's it shouldn't affect the sound at all. The only benefit more RCA's will give you is that you will have more control over all the channels. Like you can fade front to rear, or adjust the sub level independantly.

With one set you can't do this "on the fly" right now. Basically since everything is off the one RCA your fader doesn't effect the speakers. It must be done w/ the amp gains.

What speakers do you have right now?

polk GXR69 in the back and stox in the front. more RCAs really won't make any difference except 'on the fly' sound tuning?

i heard at my local stereo shop that you are dividing your sound quality (or sound level capabilities) in half for every set of pre-amps that you lack.

I would say since you have stock up front, get some nice speakers or components up there running off the amp.

It should make a huge difference.

I say you make a bet w/ these people.

Put in the RCA's ..... if it does make a difference in SQ then you pay for them. Otherwise let you take them for free.

If it would make such a difference it should be an easy sale no?
