i'd recheck your wires...are all of your wires properly connected? Are wires not in use capped off with but connectors? Your speakers are making that sound probably due to some sort of electrical interference so try organizing your wires a little bit. When you installed everything, you prolly just stuffed the wires somewhere like I did...lol
so check it out, take everything apart and check each wire. If that doesn't cut it, exchange the speakers.

O yeah, are your front AND rear ones both making that sound? or just the front/rear?

Ok, I need to start over so here it goes

What I have; Clarion Dxz745mp, Polk db650, Polk db690

The problem; I hear a crackle through the speakers.

What I have done so far

Checked the wiring harness, looks good all ends are capped and I taped all connections as well

I have put my friends stereo in my car and I couldnt hear the crackle

I put my stereo in my friends car, I heard the crackle but not as bad

I put the stock radio back in heard the crackle

I connected a stock speaker back in and hear the crackle but not as bad

When I fade and balance to one speaker, or fade to two or balance to two whatever, I still hear the crackle coming out of the speakers that are not playing music.

Conclusion; Im totally lost Im not sure whats wrong, is the head unit bad, are the speakers bad, is the wiring bad.

I assume its the headunit but for some reasons I have my doubts, although the fact that i heard it in my friends car does suggest it. However my friend didnt hear it only i did.
