Hey the other day i went an un-hooked my car battery to install glow gages on my car. When i was all done, i re-connected the battery and checked out if everything worked.All was working but my cd played. I pushed the power button and it asked me for a key code. So i looked in my owners manuel and it stated that i should have a card with the code on it. I looked all over for it and couldn't find it. I was wondering if someone would to give e a code if it would work? If so does anyone want to give me a Code? My ride is a 2000 Civic SiR. Thanx for your Time

won't cost anything, if you take it to the dealer they can hook up some kind of computer to it that tells them what the code is. Long as they believe you're the owner of the car you gots no problems. We've had situations like this ay my shop once or twice where the code the customer gave us didn't work, we just sent him to his dealer and they took care of it for him.

Actually just call the honda dealer you bought it from and they will check on there computer and give it to you. I had the same problem as u. I needed a code.

yeah same thing happened to me.. all i did was go to the honda dealership.. gave emm the vin number of my car and they got it with in 5 minz... no big deal

umm I went the they pointed it out to me that mine was in the glove compartment on the side a white sticker lol I feel so dumb for wasting gas to find out that the code was in there. Oh well now I have it somewhere safe.
