you pull the stock ones out, put in the new ones. installs arent speaker dependant

I heard it wasn't that easy from what I've read. These speakers are clearly bigger than stock and I heard there was some cutting involved and maybe some spacers. I just want specifics, I know installs aren't speaker dependent but it sure helps when someone has actually installed these speakers in their car and are able to provide some HELPFULL FEEDBACK.

Those Infinity's are about 1/4" too deep for the doors. You'll need a spacer that'll push them out at least that far. I recommend 1/2" for plenty of clearance.

The Reference 6000cs's are the only Infinity components (AFAIK) that'll fit without modification. They're less than 2" on Top-Mount Depth. All others are 2-5/16, 2-3/16 and 2-5/8".
