looking for an alternative to a jl 500/1 to power a 10w7, cuz i cant get a 500/1 cuz its all on backorder i think and i been waiting 2 monthes to get it from circa x. whats everyone recommend

some choices

Rockford Fosgate 2
Orion
Phoenix Gold

any others u think of?

your 10w7 will be at 3 ohms, so the orion wont cut it and the 500bd wont cut it both will be giving you like 300 watts, and will leave that woofer starving for power, the pg will be some heavy power, much more power than the 500/1 and the bd 1001. I would personally go with the pg out of those choices
you could also do a hifonics brutus, which will also give you some nice power, its also found on onlinecarstereo.com

i could think of a bunch more, but i was comparing to the budget you were showing there

lightning's 1000d could be a possible option. it's 1000watts @ 2 ohm and should be easy to find cheaper than a rf bd 1000. also, look into the ever popular jbl 1200.1

hifonics zeus is also an alternative... i can get you a 500/1 JL at a local shop if they still got it for around $300 as well, plus shipping
