yea.. what does THD mean when it comes to amps? is lower better? or higher better? or is it lower more sq and higher more power?

Rep Power: 292 The amount of change in harmonic content of the signal as it is amplified. A lower figure indicates less change and a more accurate amp. THD below 0.10% is inaudible.

Rep Power: 0 amount of thd which is audible or inaudible is also dependant to frequency. sub 80 hz frequencies can have a stupid high thd. the human ear is most sensitive around 1000 hz or so.

Rep Power: 315 definitely true. yoru THD of even 5% (phd2) makes no difference if the woofers innacuracies are close to 10%.
its the reason why woofer choice is much more important than amplifier choice, and why thd is a completely irrelevant term.
