Switch for Underglo

i hooked up my under glow and the switch is inside the car and i have it wired so it goes next to the cigarette lighter , but the switch doesnt fill up the whole space so its doesnt work i cant find anything to fill in the blank switch space so the switch is useable. Anyone have any ideas?

you're pretty much screwed. but you can go to a car junkyard and see if they have any of your model car (i assume 01+ civic) and take out the lower dash part that you need and buy it. or better yet i saw on ebay today that they have them, i think i have the thing bookmarked. click here just check that out. if thats not the color you need he has a biege one also. just check his OTHER ITEMS. hope that could help you.

if i understand right its the piece that pops out that your talkign about, right? couldnt you buy an OEM foglight switch and hack it to turn on yrou underbody neons? that fill teh whole space, not to mention look OEM....

i used that spot and roto-zipped it out and put a switch in there.

Two words...HOT GLUE. It won't look professional, but hey, it works. It has to work, hot glue is like liquid duct tape.

take a peice of aluminim and drill out a hole in it get these switched that fit.... ahh hell give me a day and i'll take pics and post what i did... it looks amazing

If I get you correctly, you popped out one of the little rectangles where the OEM fog switch goes and are trying to put it there. If thats the case, position the switch the way you want it, and use duct tape on the back or something for a backing and to hold it in, then fill the gaps in the front with bondo, then you can use a small peice of sand paper and some model paint to finish it off.

The other option is what WhiteRabbit suggested, and hack the OEM fog switch to work.

Hey thats exactly what i did i got a piece of aluminum to fill the hole then i made a hole in the aluminum to fit the switch it doesnt exactly look amazing but its looks pretty good
