ok guys...i recently installed my new alpine deck, and now my power locks, headlight warning, and dome light when door opens does not work. It is not the fuse because ive checked, and the locks and dome light both still work only this is the catch.....The locks will only work when the car is on there for defeating the purpose of locking my door when i turn off the car, and the dome light works if the car is on. Somone told me that the factory cd player has a chip that makes it work..just trying to figure out whats up and if any one else has experianced this problem. Thanks

look at a fuse under the hood called backup
