Wiring Question

I plan on getting 2 apine type e's or s's both rated 5-200 rms watts a piece.

ALso getting an alpine amp. 200x1 rms at 4 ohm, 350x1 at 2 ohm.

How do i wire the two together to the amp to be the most efficent(most power).

I have no idea of any wiring to get the right ohms and stuff

Thanks
Chris

A wiring diagram woud be great

tie both the positives together then both negatives together. run the two positives to the positive out put on the amp. then run both negative wires to the negatve out put on the amp.

How many ohms does that come out as on the type e's or r's is it 2 ohm?

From the same source as that diagram:
"Note that the impedance of two speakers in parallel will be one-half the rating of the subs, if both speakers are of the same impedance. This will result in a greater load being placed on your amplifier, so it is a good idea to make sure that the amp is stable for this lower impedance."
So, if they're 4ohm speakers, you're bringing them down to 2ohms. Most quality amps are 2ohm stable, but check their specs to make sure.

"Please see the diagram below, and note that the total load impedance will be the sum of the impedance of each speaker. This results in an easier load for the amplifier, resulting in cooler operation and cleaner signal, but less power output."
In this case, the 4ohm speakers will be 8ohms and draw less power and produce less power.
