i had 4 12's in my old car, it was a mid 80's cavalier. 1 12 was an ht sub, 1 12 was a random home audio 12, and 2 were super pro 12's. yeah, its been a long strange trip

My first subs....I was like 13, I had 2 12" Rockford Punch Z's in a sealed box...hooked it up to my house stereo with no amp, it really didn't sound too bad...
Had a fosgate punch 12" in a huge *** mirror band-pass box.....thing looked soo cheesy but everyone thought it was tight..lol.....it even had a lightning bolt eteched into it......man what was i thinking at 16?!?!?!?!?!?
now my lil sis has the box and a new sub...hehehehe....keeping bad taste in the family!

1st setup: single orion cobalt 10" sub with an orion cobalt230 amp. sweet.
2nd: dual orion 10's with same amp...in my black 93 Prelude. (damn, I want that car back!)
3rd: single orion 10 in a tube...a step down, for sure.
4th: newer cobalt 235w amp with two sony 12's in a ported box. pathetic...never again sony.(this was in my 96 v8 sho...no...i don't really miss it...it's a ford)
5th: ditched the sonys and got a rockford fosgate 10. A little better than the sonys, but not up to orions level.(in the civic by this time)
6th: sold the RF to a friend. Got the triangle shaped bazooka open-box at CircuitCity. Excellent sound for the price. I'm satisfied with it for now. All I need is a decent amp for the fronts and I can think about getting rid of the cheap Kenwoods I have up there.

I had a Jensen 12" with 100w power handleing.
The magnets on my Infinity's 6.5" are bigger than the one on that sub. I blew it running an amp that fed it 120watts. Not much of a loss though.

I had a pair of those Pioneer IMPPs, 2 10s in a seald box in my 90 4-banger mustang. The trunk was tiny so the only way I could fit the subs in was to point them up. The subs actually hit the lid of the trunk. Sounded like mucho ***.
