Pressure Sensor - where to buy?

Does anyone know where I can get a pressure sensor from? It doesn't look like DEI carries them, if I am wrong someone please tell me where to get them from. If DEI indeed doesn't have them, then will a non-DEI pressure sensor work Ok with a DEI alarm? Thanks in advance...

Nope, I read on howstuffworks.com about a pressure sensor that detects an intruder based on air pressure changes. Here's their definition...

"Pressure Sensors
One simple way for an alarm system to detect an intruder is to monitor air-pressure levels. Even if there is no pressure differential between the inside and outside, the act of opening a door or forcing in a window pushes or pulls on the air in the car, creating a brief change in pressure."

...or check out their site for it. I never heard of this before and wanted to know where I could get it, sounds kinda cool.

Erm, pressure sensors are way to restrictive to use. Either it is going to be triggered by a gust of wind hitting your car or it won't notice the window breaking.

It sounds good in theory, but the false alarms will drive your neighbors so crazy that you risk retribution.

I agree. After reading it more I realized the same thing. Not worth it, sounds worse than a glass sensor now. Sounded insteresting at first, not anymore.
