yea I was considering getting a amp for my speakers and I can't make up my mind which brand to go for. It's either going to be JL or the Alpine v12's. What do you guys got?

I have an Alpine M300 just for my sub, not for my speakers but alpine makes good amplifiers. I would still have to go with JL Audio. Their amplifiers are more expensive, but I think they are well worth it, from what I have heard around the forum. What type of speakers are you trying to amplify?

I have JBL speakers for my front and rear speakers but if I do go Alpine I probably get the type r's and type s's for my subs

what model JBL speakers do u have? how do they sound?

I just got them in, the fronts are the JBL GTO626 while the rear's the GTO926
They sound tight but it seems they can be better. I heard my other friends speakers and they are great and the only difference I notice is an amp. I would get amps like theirs but the brand is generic and anyways I want my stuff to sound better.
The speakers are supposed to handle heavy power anyways
