Hey guys I’m new to the forum. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING Im currently doing the swap right now From a 09 lx to an Si. I brought the whole swap from a donor car. Engine, engine harness, motor mounts the whole 9. I basically left the engine bay empty. To make story short, this new motor had electric power steering the old one didn’t. So I’m order to keep the electric on I had to swap the whole harness that goes behind the dash as well. After removing the dash everything plugged in except one connector (it’s a blue one that’s right next to 2 white ones, in the driver side kick panel). The new harness connector doesn’t match with the original harness in the car. is started splicing some cables and I got the rpm gauge to finally read. The cluster stopped giving me those weird code, but now I have an immobilized problem. Has anyone had this issue with this connector? Can anyone help me find the wiring diagram for this connector? I just need something.
This is the connector im talking about. some of these wires go straight to the abs pump form what i can see.
On the first pic, connected is the blue connector from the original harness and in the back is the connector from the new harness that we installed. The new connector doesnt fit in the car's female end. and the new connector also has about twice as many cables in it.
Unfortunately my knowledge of the 8th gens is very limited. Below is a link to the service manual though if you want to try to figure it out. I tried looking through it, but I'm having no luck finding what connector that is and what runs through it. http://civic.hondafitjazz.com/manual2.html
