don't have an 8th gen, so not sure.
I use eibach springs, kayaba shocks. they good, but most recommend tokico shocks (again, that's for the 7th gen.

Tight suspension and comfort usually dont go hand in hand just so you know..OEM is probably the best your going to get if your looking for both.

KYB makes good OEM replacement shocks. I had them on my old buick and loved them. I got about the mid ones not the most expensive and not the cheapest.

If you want good ride and performance then your best bet is HFP or Mugen.

I've got a seventh gen. I'm looking for some decent oem replacement front struts. Nothing special, perhaps just a step up from the stock struts. I've come across monroe sensa trac, which i have had two machanics tell me they are good, and kyb. Any opinions??

^^ Noooo! Monroe are absolute garbage, you would be better off with stock than monroes. Trust me, KYB makes good stuff.
