Some M3 Mirrors questions...

Just some M3 mirrors questions.

1. How does the size of the actual mirror of the OEM compare to the M3 mirrors?
2. If i wanted to get the mirror painted, would i be able to take it apart so I can paint the outer shell? or would i have to leave everything in?
3. Is ebay the best place to buy these?

Thanks for any help!

What Up JCiv, I dont know what M3 mirrors your gonna get, but i can tell you about the APC one i have.

1. VERY SMALL visibility out of side mirrors compared to OEM
2. About painting. Im not a expert in painting but it seems like they may be difficult to DIY paint. Im sure you would have to primer it first(maybe a couple times). Should be like 50$ at a automotive paint store. Or you sould always get the carbon fiber ones, they have a nice finish to them.
3. I got mine from stylinconcepts.com
4. I find these mirrors to be pretty much a cosmetic upgrade. At high speeds mirror shakes a little making it hard to see.

Hope this helps
