i dunno if u can use both, but revo is better, shorter shift throw and the stick is shorter which also look good, where u getting it and how much?i wanna get it next week too see if we can get a discount together
Revo is the whole replacement part it gives u shorter shifts and the shifter sits lower
DC adapter bolts on to your existing shifter and gives u shorther shifts
As for which is better i think its a matter of opinion and preference
P.S. the older revos only shortened the shifter so you could bolt on the adapter for shorter shifts, the new revos are designed to do both

Revo claims to shorten both the Engagement and Disengagement of the gears, while Adapters only shorten the engagement.
they also claim 40% shorter throw Vs. 20% shorter with the adapter
I assume that they added both engagement and Disengagement to get the 40% shorter throw. 20%+20% = 40%.
Personally I have the Revo and I love it, Great for autocross.
Oh ya, if you look there are actually 2 cables that change the gears, one engages the gears and the other disengages the gears, short throw adapters only shorten one. where The Revo Shortens Both.

The stock rubber bushings were used to dampen vibrations coming from the engine thats it.

yes, they are standard honda threads. I have the revo, with greys upgrade, with bushings and I love it. All three are well worth there money. One of the main reasons I also went with the revo is that not only does it shorten the throw (functionality), it also LOOKS better in the interior without that tall shifter stickin up so high.

when i was painting the trim around the stereo, trust me this relates to the housing question, i had to get to take out the whole middle part of the car to get to the 2 screws that hold the stereo in from the bottom, I'm talking about the housing that covers everything from the cup holders and goes back past the 2 front seats. Taking that out was the easiest thing to do and once i had it out the shifting units were all exposed and easy to get to
