Question Swirling brake lights?

I know this sounds retarded but just bare with me. I remember a couple months ago seeing an eclipse with brake lights that swirled and then lit up when he braked. Kinda hard to explain. Does anyone have any idea what im talking about?

joski will become famous soon enough
I just put a new spoiler on my car and it has a really big LED.. I'd like to program it so the LEDs light up a certain way and such when the brake is pressed. Is that kinda what you mean?

I saw them on JCWhitney.com. Here's a direct link http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jht...D=462768&BQ=sc

Look to be about $25 per.
Hope this helps...

I doubt they are legal, so you are obviously taking a chance installing them that you will get ticketed or have to get rid of them.

dunno...it does border on ricey, but as far as illegal or not, as long as its red i dont see why it would be illegal. the law says no lights of certain colors...nothing about them spinning. maybe if they were strobes i can understand the problem, but these just spin.

if you get them, make a vid of what they look like...i want to see them in action. hehe

i installed a strobe in my 3rd brake light and got a ticket for it. i don't think the swirling lights would be illegal cuz they don't flash.
