I'm having such a problem with my Kaminari lip kit. I've replaced the original double sided tape with 3M, cause it didn't stick. Now the 3M is coming loose, especially on the front lip!
I've cleaned the area w/ alchohol, and put it on when it was warm, and it doesn't want to stick to the bumper. I've decided to try a permanent epoxy, instead of the 3m tape. I'm also going to try it on top of my door sills too.
I really like the looks of lip kits, not too flashy, but am thinking I should have gone with a full kit, so I wouldn't have to deal with this crap

there is some newer black stuff, nto gray that seems to work a little better from 3m. ive used it on a companys project before, sticks nicely. with the gray stuff, sometimes if you heat it a lil with even a hair drier it helps. my oem kit used the 3m tape along soem edges, havnt had a prob in 2 years or ownership.

I've used that "new" 3M stuff, trust me it still sucks.
I'm thinking I just don't have this much bad luck, anyone else had a problem with this crap sticking???
