Which mods are good/bad for mileage
correct me if I am wrong, but mods that are "air freeing" (intakes, exhausts, headers)ones get better gas mileage, IF you drive real slow and dont accelerate fast. IF you mash on the gas often than they will rob you of gas mileage.
take the ac out, it eats up your power and its heavy too. then if u wanna go crazy u can take a bunch of other stuff out too depending what u plan on doing
,
seats
spare tire
other crap in the trunk
basically reduce the weight of the car :-D lol.
other than that i have no clue, oh, shift at low rpm and drive in the highest gear possible when ever you can)but so that your car still runs smooth) - that will help u save some gas too. plus it makes u shift down if ya wanna speed up so its more work to do that and therefor u might not shift down but just chill in traffic instead of trying to race everybody

. I've got an intake, exhaust & Denso Iridium IK20 spark plugs. So far my best run was 501 miles on a tank of gas. But I would suggest using fuel injector cleaner every few tankfuls to keep them running smooth, and that will also help your fuel efficiency

yo..
on the Ebay listing for the Denso spark plugs..
they state that this change of spark plugs will give you an "honest" 5hp to the wheels. is this true or complete bullshit?
Also, the sellers goes deeper by saying that they provide spark plugs with the right gap according to how much aftermarket type of stuff (i.e. intake, header, exhaust,etc) on ur car. but what if you've only put on an intake, but plan to put other stuff on too? any help is appreciated.

Ok, let me clarify - I've only managed to dfo that once, although I have gotten into the 400's on occasion. I filled the tank as much as possible and I added a bottle of some sort of octane booster just for the hell of it. Then I drove around for probably close to 50 miles after the fuel light came on.
So yeah, I don't get that every time, but I did get it once. No BS
Most of the time I get about 350 or so, sometimes a little less

yah damn dude ... I neglected to keep my tires full of air and I got some SHITYass gas milage. usually I would get 330-340 (until the gas light came on) but then my gas milage started slow decreasing ... until it got to 280-290 ... at that point, I was like ok wtf ... this sucks. Then I got denso spark plugs and k&n fipk2 hoping it would help (fipk2 supposedly increases gas milage) ... but then when I got my next oil change, my buddy told me my tires were low on air. Then he put air in them ... supposedly they're supposed to be at 32 psi for optimal performance ... mine were at 25 psi ... T_T;;;
well after a fresh oil change (3k miles) and more air, my next full tank of gas jumped to 360 ;P
so yah ... check your damn tires. T_T;

I believe you, I've done that before too. I cheated a little though. I got around 550 mi/tank.... but that was only when I topped it off. If I fill my tank up till the pump kicks off, and I drive it till the gas light comes on, I normally get around 380 miles. If I drive it till it's almost empty, I get around 450 or so.
yeah, after the pump automatically shuts itself off, I throw another dollar in or more to top it off. That way I go like 80+ miles before the gauge even starts to move ...
And I always drive long after the fuel light comes on - I think there's still like 2 gallons left when the fuel light comes on ..

All I can say is what happened for me. When I got my intake, Exhaust and headers my MPG went up! The only problem is your car sounds cool and you may want to rev it hurting your MPG.
I usally go close to 400 before the light comes on in an EX

under my regular driving habits (aka driving like your always in a race, even if its from one red light to another at the next block) will kill your MPG. so before CAI it was like 330, now w/ CAI more like 280. but you get a cool sound!
dude get an intake... CAI if u can, header if u dont got it, FULL CAT BACK EXHAUST, Not no muffler frikin welded on with stock piping...
after that or if not that get some pulleys and have then installed professionaly, and crap if NOT that... save up
