Talking tanabe axle back question...

I saw this post on ebay....its not for our generation of civs, but I guess it would apply...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=42610

I saw this and got very excited...I do not want to deal with a muffle shop and welding. I guess I just take off my stock stuff and shove this baby on, would it sound decent, any gains, and is that a decent price? Thanks for your time guys!!!
Jeremy

That is not a Tanabe exhaust. It is an imitation. Tanabe only comes in a Cat-back system.

You will not see the gains or sound of a true Tanabe.

BTW, an axle back made for a 6thgen civic will not fit a 7thgen.

youll get a small amount of gains and dont get too excited its a Tanabe Style muffler and they muffler shop has already done the welding and they welded a universal muffler on it and are now selling you a catback exhaust. Its not bad. I for one would save the extra cash and get the real Tanabe CATBACK

its not bad. If your really looking to get the most Hp outta an exhaust system seriously man save up for the Tanabe RSpec exhaust. Your looking at about 500-550 depending on where you go to get it. Its been dynoed to provied the best gain in Hp and torque for our cars. It offer the performance the looks and the reliability. Its made of all stainless steel whereas others are only a stainless steel muffler, the RSpec will outlast the majority of exhaust systems out there that will rust after a few years.

well if you MUST have an exhaust go with the HKS system. Its the best axle back system for you.
