AEM CAI Filter

After my wreck, the body shop that did the work didn't position the filter away from the block again, so it melted my filter. I have a crappy filter on right now, so I don't feel too safe. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement filter? Preferably K&N or another AEM filter like the one that came with it......

I am pretty sure www.nopionline.com has replacement filters (AEM)-you should see their phone number on the bottom of one of the pages and you can call toll free and ask.

Well, I'm going to tomorrow, but I was hoping somebody knew somewhere else I could get one, since getting stuff straight from the manufacturer is usually the most expensive way to go......

You could go Here... they are kinda pricey but there is a good amount of filters.

If you know the inside diameter of the filter you need, you can get K&N filters at a local parts store. AutoZone has them for sure.

I've tried Autozone before, but they never had one with the right diameter. And now I live in an area with no Autozone, and the crappy little Advance Autoparts doesn't carry anything worthwhile....

It was pushed up against the tranny, which was hot enough to melt the rubber part of the filter if you drive like that for a couple of hours.....
