SEDAN OWNERS???
As far as exhaust go which one do you have or want? And what do you like and don't like about it? I have done a SEARCH and read all the treads, so don't go there. All the replies seems to come from coupe owners and (Not that there is anything wrong with that and I know you are the majority but...) I would like to hear from SEDAN owners.
Thanks
Thanks

i went the HP Racing j-spec axle back route. it was like $230, and im totally happy with what i got.
since im leasing (and its an LX), i wasnt planning on getting too many mods, i just wanted something that sounded nice and looked better than stock. thats what i got. im not gonna say theres definite performace boost, but who knows. the exhaust is quiet enough to not be annoying but loud enough to be noticeable. plus with this you can always go custom cat back and get the same benefits of a pre-packaged catback.

i got the hks hi-power rear section with stock piping....might get custom piping done......it sounds perfect, not too loud not too low but can be heard...ground clearance is not that good...just gotta be careful on bumps

I also have the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust and I love it. It sounds absolutely perfect. It hangs a little below the bumper, but I have had no problems with scraping. I received my goldlines springs so hopefully it won't scrape after I install them.
I have the magnaflow cat back, sounds nice and i bought mine for $300.00 when the group buy was on. Pipe use to hang pretty low but with a couple bends I made the pipeing fits just like stock.

I have the Thermal R&D axel back, now discontinued. I love the sound, but the fit on sedans is a little bit off. The distance between the tip and the bottom of the bumper is a little bit much, and the end of the tip sticks out a little bit farther than I would like. I guess that's what happens when it's "designed to fit both coupe and sedan." I guess it's a moot point, since you can't buy it anymore.
Anyways, the tip dosn't stick out as far now because I've backed it into curbs a couple times.
I also raised it up a little bit with some shorter exhaust hangers, so now it's pretty much in a spot I like.

I also have a thermal rear section on my sedan. I really like the look, and I think a catback system has the same muffler. I got the rear so it wouldn't be very noisy. I have pics in member rides. It does stick out a little bit, but from a distance it's not noticable.
Magnaflow cat-back
I like it, but I think I'm gonna have to get it welded, cause every so often the mid-section comes loose and it sounds like sh¡t. Plus it hangs a little low and scrapes. But it sounds awesome and not whiny like some of those other fart-cans ..

i was just about to post a thread just like this. this site rules.
anyways, i was thinking about getting a dynomax exhaust for my sedan, but that might change after a few days looking at this thread. my main concern is the sound and look, performance gain isn't a must, just a bonus considering i have no other engine mods.
anyone know how the dynomax fits?
EDIT: after searching doesn't look like dynomax is even available for 2001 sedans. damn, the search continues....
