bottom line-what is the best sri?

1)what is the best sri for our cars in terms of performance?
2)What is the best sri for our cars in terms of sound?

this is between the aem sri, injen sri, and fipk II sri

i would believe that the fipk II is the most powerful cause it got the heat shield...sorry if its a dumb question but i dont wanna regret getting my intake..money isnt really an issue. i heard u get 4 hp in the high rpm's with the fipk II, is that to the wheels? cuase if it is, thats kinda a lot, but i think u lose power in the lower rpms so it evens out. i dunno.. thanks

Can he not take a short cut and ask others? Isn't that what this site is for R3DL1N3?-Sorry I just get sick of the answer, "search"-In a way, asking is searching, is it not?

I agree asking a question is a search for knowledge.
There all pretty much the same the less name brand like CP might not have a smooth inside as a AEM or K&N.
It is really a matter of preference / Filter used.

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
But if everyone takes your POV Civic2001LX we crowd the forums and this site with the same damn topics when its so much simpler to search. The new site was even designed to make searching easier. Yes asking is searching but it alo take up space when searching sometimes allows you to learn more about what your researching than asking

who said i didnt search??? ive been searching for over a week, thats how i found out the fipk gives 4 hp in the high rpm, and peole give mixed answers on which is best for performance, and i know sound is preference, ive searced numerous numerous forums and every answer is different, thats why i titled this forum, "bottom line" cuase i want a real answer, so if u dont want to answer the question, dont, and dont tell me to search unless u know for a fact that i didnt

check out the article in TPR magazine a while back. sure it's tested for a '99 Si, but it'll give you an idea on how the intakes measure up against each other. so this is just for performance; it doesn't say anything about sound. i'd just go for the AEM myself, though; it's the cheapest, and i heard most people that have it are really happy with the sound.

I can't tell you now, but hopefully the guy I won the FIPK II off of ebay will respond back to me so I can pay him. Then he can send me the Intake. Then I can install it... Then I can tell you, hopefully the process will be less than a week.

I don't plan to keep the FIPK just because I want money to do my custom exhaust or spoiler... But if its like *WOW* then I guess I'll keep it. I'll let you know man.

Get the FIPK, I have it and I love it. When you first get your car its really loud at around 4000 rpms, but once you get used to it, its not so loud.
