I just got the CAI Race Division intake for my `03 5-speed EX. After a bitch of an install to get it to fit its in. I installed the same intake on a `01 Auto EX a little bit ago and it was loud as hell. In mine its there and I def can hear the suck and the nice warm sounds from it but its not near as load as the other one. The only diffrence is i noticed the pipe was cut a little lower on mine but when put together was pretty much simular and on mine i put a heat shield/splash gaurd. Would that make a diffrence? Any input?

Ok, I just pulled the FI ECU but it was a 15a fuse not a 7.5a like the DIY said. It was the only FI ECU fuse under my hood. So I take it thats the right one guys? I'm waiting 10 min right now.

Ok, I just finished reseting my ECU. Its still not all to loud compaired to the one I installed on automatic; however, I did notice a little more pep after reseting it. Still, I loved the sound it made on the auto I put it in, i want that!
the filter can make a diff also, i have a obx sri i had the paper filter they gave me, then i bought a blitz filter, it has no cotton in it ,all metal mesh, and its like night and day for the sound

paid $209 shipped for mine from NOPI.com.
sound is awesome, around 3500 rpms it gets a mean deep growl to it.
although my neck didnt jerk back when i punched the gas, the overall performance is better, runs smoother and i noticed that i didnt have as many "dead spots", where you give it the gas but it takes a while for the car to catch up and go. i'm very happy with it, money well spent.
