You did a real HID conversion, or you bought "HID" halogen bulbs?

I've heard lots of complaints that the TYC aren't as bright as stock. I think they were designed purely for looks, which is why I'm sticking with stock.

You could either buy higher wattage bulbs and upgrade your harness, or get a HID conversion ($$$). Of course the least expensive option is to sell the projectors and go back to stock.

It's good to have foglights to go along with projector ones

Since you did a conversion, you might wanna make sure they are aimed properly.

mine look just fine with mtec bulbs (55W)...

how much did you pay for the conversion and what are the components that you used (like brand, ballasts and how did you get the bulb into the socket)??

It also affects the "temperature" of your HIDs. The higher, the more purple it looks (6000) and around 4500 its supposed to look the whiter and brighter.

when you brought the HID conversion, did the kit come with new reflectors for the lights. if the kit didnt come with new reflectors then that could be your problem, halogen reflectors wont aim HID light properly.

id say try to readjust them. Goto a large parking lot with a big wall late one right with a screw driver and raise the up.
